Doodle of the Week: Drip Drop and Having Fun

Hey Everybody! This week I have a style frame along with some parting advice to share. After all of the stress of finishing senior project, the pitch, a few interviews, career fair, company visits, turn downs, and group projects, the last few months have been insane. I was so burnt out on art and so tunnel-visioned on finding a job after school, I really forgot why I got into this in the first place. Until my teacher showed us this little gem.

It reminded me that I got into animation not only because I liked art, but because it's fun. It's important to have fun in all of your projects! Hopefully this video helps inspire you too and gives you a bit more steam to push through whatever you're doing. Here's a quick style frame of a character I'm going to be animating this week.
